Who controls your information?
Two Skint Studio Limited is the data controller for SkintNav. The company is registered in England and Wales under company number 17406692. Its registered office is 82A James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds, England, IP28 7DE. SkintNav is a trading name of Two Skint Studio Limited.

What information we use
When you use the Route Workshop, we use the start, finish, via points, places, route choices, creator preferences and filming details you enter. We do not ask for your device's live GPS location. If you email us about early access or feedback, we use your name, email address and message. Our hosting and security providers may also process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and request logs so the site can be delivered and protected.
How the Route Workshop works
Route locations are sent through the SkintNav server to OpenRouteService so the requested route can be geocoded and drawn. The interactive map loads OpenStreetMap map tiles, which means the map provider receives the normal technical request made by your browser. The resulting creator pack is assembled in your browser and is not saved to a SkintNav customer account.
If you choose Save offline pack or Save to My Routes, the plan is stored locally in that browser on that device until you remove it or clear the browser's site data. My Route Garage can hold up to 12 plans. Downloaded creator packs and GPX files are saved wherever you choose on your device.
The Beta Test Centre also stores your tester name, check results and notes locally in that browser. They stay on your device unless you deliberately download a report or choose to email it to us. The email option opens your normal email app so you can review the report before sending it.
Why we use it
We process route details to provide the tool you ask to use and for our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the prototype. We use enquiry details to reply and manage appropriate follow-up. We send optional news or early-access updates only where you have asked us to do so. We do not sell personal information or use it for decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Who receives it
We use carefully selected hosting, security, email, mapping and routing providers. They receive only the information needed to provide their part of the service. Some providers may process information outside the UK using an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
The public prototype does not keep your route brief in a customer account. Saved offline packs, Route Garage plans and unfinished beta-test results remain on your device until you remove them. Contact messages and beta reports you choose to email are normally kept for up to 12 months after an enquiry closes, unless a longer period is needed for a legal, accounting or security reason. Technical logs are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for security and troubleshooting.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy of your personal information. You can also withdraw consent for optional updates at any time. If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
